Terms like ROI, KPIs, and C-suite dominate the conversations in the business world, so much so that it’s easy to lose sight of the real powerhouses driving the change. Wondering who the ‘Powerhouses’ are? Well, they are none other than the She-E-OS! These women in leadership with oozing ambition are not just climbing up the corporate ladder; they are demolishing the patriarchal leadership dome, brick by brick, and reshaping it!

Don’t worry, readers. In this blog, we will not keep talking about how women are “better” than men. Instead, we will talk about how women in leadership are smashing stereotypes, curating female leadership success strategies, and painting the town red (or maybe rainbow) with their boundless ambition and stronger-than-ever sisterhood game! And do you know what the best part is? We’ve got receipts to prove what we claim!

Our latest International women’s day survey has borne fruit; believe us, the findings are hotter than a dragon’s breath!

Are ‘She-E-OS’ a Byproduct of Sisterhood?

If you think ‘Sisterhood’ is just another fancy term then you are completely mistaken. It’s stronger than your morning cuppa coffee, and it indeed has given birth to women in leadership roles.

According to our women’s day survey insights, a whopping 83% of women have claimed that the support and encouragement of another woman has empowered them. Do you think it’s a coincidence? Nayyyy, that’s the undeniable power of sisterhood in action! And how does this work? Sisterhood acts as your workout buddy, the one who pushes you to that extra rep, celebrates your victories and refuses to let you quit.

The same women’s day survey also paints a beautiful picture of what sisterhood truly means to women across the globe:

1. Sisterhood A.K.A Squad Goals for Life!

When life throws lemons, 28% of women say that it’s their mother, sister or bestie who ends up being their ultimate support crew. They are always readily available to boost their morale by utilizing that very lemon to make a lemonade!

2. Sisterhood A.K.A Soul Connection!

17% of the respondents have said that sisterhood is a deeper bond forged in the fires of shared experiences, bad hair days, and endless rounds of karaoke. You can tell them anything because they have probably been there and done that.

3. Sisterhood A.K.A Personal Therapist

Among our survey participators, 19% of the women claimed that sisterhood is all about that “get it, girl” empathy. Women who believe in sisterhood understand each other’s struggles because they have walked similar paths.
P.S.- Who else understands the frustration of mansplaining quite like your fellow sisters?

Moral of the story: Sisterhood acts as a fuel that propels the timid girlies to become the future women in leadership. With this kind of power by the side, the future looks fierce, fabulous, and most importantly, FEMALE!

Million Dollar Question – Can Men Help Women Shatter the Glass Ceiling?

While 83% of women have cited that encouragement and support from another woman act as a magic potion, our women’s day survey insights have revealed something else too that’s interesting.

Our women’s day survey takers have agreed that men play a crucial role in uplifting women and helping them reach for the stars – their dreams. The same census has rolled out a list of ‘things to do’ for men, who think that gender equality would make this world a better and a booming place – both emotionally and economically:

1. 80% of women believe respect is the cornerstone of any healthy relationship, and the workplace is no exception. So, they expect men to promote equality in the workplace and treat them respectfully and fairly (Well, basic human decency).

2. 68% of women have said that men – be it fathers, brothers or husbands, need to support their education and careers.

3. Last but not least, 64% of women demand that men should actively challenge the status quo for the sake of gender equality. They don’t want men to be bystanders! Instead, they want men to speak out against unfair treatment and challenge sexist comments.

The Survey Takeaway: By working together, with sisterhood as the foundation and men as allies, women can build a future where everyone, regardless of gender, has the chance to reach their full potential.

The Panel Station’s Take

Women's Day is important for celebrating womenhoodAround 82% of our women’s day survey-takers believe celebrating International Women’s Day is essential. And we, The Panel Station, cannot agree more! This day can be utilized as a catalyst for change. Apart from just celebrating phenomenal women, we must raise awareness about gender inequality and join forces for a more equitable future so that more She-E-OS – women in leadership, are on the rise!

In short, it should be treated as a global dance party with a powerful purpose!
