Is Wakefit Healing Backs or Hyping Dreams
A factual deep dive into what people really think about Wakefit, the orthopedic mattress and its claim to heal your back.
Between long work hours, endless scrolling, and sitting like pretzels in front of laptops, back pain has gone from being a “dad problem” to a national issue.
In the midst of this, Wakefit promised salvation in the form of an orthopedic mattress. A mattress so comfortable, it claimed to align your spine, heal your pain, and maybe even give you the most comfortable sleep you ever had.
But does it actually deliver pain relief, or is it just a glorified marshmallow with great marketing? We asked people. They told us with numbers, stories, and honesty.
Who’s Sleeping on It - The Demographic Spread
Our survey covered a wide range of sleepers — the young, the tired, and the ones with chronic back pain.
• Age group 25–49 made up nearly 78% of respondents — no surprise there, as that’s the prime age to ruin your spine in front of a laptop.
• Interestingly, 58.9% were women, suggesting that women are more proactive in solving back problems or possibly more persuasive in household mattress decisions.
Wakefit seems to have found its sweet spot with the urban working crowd; the ones balancing careers, commutes, and chronic lower-back drama. The brand’s appeal clearly spans both genders, but women lead slightly in actual purchase and brand recall. Possibly thanks to their higher trust in comfort claims and online reviews.

Who’s Actually Using Wakefit?
That’s a solid 55.9% adoption rate among respondents, with another 30% curious buyers. Wakefit’s online-first strategy clearly paid off. The small “never heard of it” group proves that if you’ve ever searched “best mattress for back pain,” you’ve seen a Wakefit ad at least five times.
What Made People Choose Wakefit in the First Place?
The “orthopedic” label clearly worked. It is Wakefit’s biggest sales pitch. Price and digital visibility come next, proving that the brand has cracked the holy trinity of modern marketing: science + affordability + social proof.
Satisfaction Levels and Does It Actually Help Back Pain
When over 80% of users report satisfaction, it’s safe to say Wakefit isn’t just riding on hype. It’s genuinely delivering comfort that users can feel. An impressive 83.9% claim some form of pain relief or better posture.
So, while it might not be a medical miracle, it’s doing its job of giving real relief to real people. In short, it’s less “instant cure” and more “daily therapy in disguise.”
How Does It Compare to Other Brands?
When users compared Wakefit’s comfort with other brands they’ve tried:
• 48.9% said much better
• 36.4% said slightly better
• 14.1% found it about the same
• Only 0.7% said worse
Can You Trust the Orthopedic Claim
A combined 87.4% believe Wakefit’s claim holds weight and that’s a level of credibility most brands dream of. Sure, some feel it’s a little exaggerated (and maybe the word “orthopedic” does sound a bit medical for something you nap on), but overall, people think it works.
Wakefit might not replace your physiotherapist, but it’s definitely giving them less business.
Wakefit also has a 97% net positive recommendation rate. When people with back pain recommend something that helped them, that’s as real as testimonials get.
So… Can a Mattress Really Fix Your Back?
The truth is that no mattress can single-handedly cure decades of bad posture, ignored stretching, and terrible chairs. But what it can do is stop making things worse and give your body a fighting chance to recover while you sleep.
The data clearly says that most Wakefit users feel noticeable improvement, not overnight miracles. It’s not medical therapy, but it’s definitely therapeutic. So maybe the question isn’t “Does Wakefit fix back pain?” but rather “Does Wakefit give you fewer reasons to complain about it?”
